Controller sends City Council the 2025-26 outside audit agreement

Outside firm MGO will perform the city's annual financial and federal grant audits for fiscal year 2025-26.

The city's books and its spending of federal grant money will again be reviewed by an outside accounting firm, Macias, Gini & O'Connell LLP. Controller Kenneth Mejia signed the engagement letter and transmitted it to Mayor Karen Bass and the City Council for review.
