A county review of Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, which runs 24/7 mobile mental health crisis teams, found payroll costs split by preset rates instead of hours worked, $6,670 in unallowable charges, and $2,400 without invoices. The Auditor-Controller asked the agency to repay the Department of Mental Health; the agency agreed, with fixes targeted through August 1, 2026.
