City Planning proposes cleanup amendments to new zoning code rules

Proposed ordinance would clarify height measurement, ground story heights, parking and fence rules in the new zoning code.

City Council· posted Jul 9Policy

The proposed maintenance ordinance would adjust rules in the city's new zoning code, including how building height is measured, ground story heights for commercial space, fence and planting standards, and when parking lots must be redesigned. The Department of City Planning says no new environmental review is needed because earlier community plan reports cover the changes.
