Patients who pay bills or leave cash and jewelry with the hospital rely on controls the county auditor found incomplete, including missing supervisor approval of voided transactions and no written desk procedures. The Auditor-Controller reviewed the Department of Health Services facility, which collected about $675,000 in fiscal year 2024-25, and the department agreed to most fixes by February 1, 2027.
