Metro committee weighs adding Latin Business Association to small business advisory body

The group, founded in 1975 with over 4,000 members, would join Metro's council advising on small business contracting.

Organizations that advocate for small businesses advise Metro on how it awards contracts and conducts outreach. The Latin Business Association has applied and been approved by the advisory council; Metro's Board must approve the appointment before the group is added.
