Metro committee weighs 11-month extension of renewable natural gas fuel contracts
The no-cost extensions would keep Clean Energy Renewable Fuels and another supplier delivering bus fuel through June 30, 2027.
Metro would extend its contracts for renewable natural gas, the fuel used in its bus fleet, by eleven months, from July 31, 2026 to June 30, 2027, with no added cost. The Operations, Safety, and Customer Experience Committee is considering authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to sign the changes.
