Metro committee weighs $8.9 million more for Westside walking, biking and transit projects
The money would fund two new walking and biking projects and five new transit projects, with about seven done by the 2028 Games.
Metro staff ask the board to add $4,917,785 for walking and biking connections and $3,979,932 for equity projects in the Westside Cities area, covering new and existing projects. The Planning and Programming Committee considers it, and staff would then sign funding agreements with the agencies building the projects.

Execute funding agreements with implementing agencies and return to the Board annually for updates
